Stepping Stones (WIP)

Stepping Stones. A comic I'm developing. One of the goals of the story is to illuminate the mundane parts of adventuring. I'm a big believer in the expression "it's about the journey, not the destination" and I love fantasy RPGs, particularly D&D. While lots of folks really just want to smash some goblin heads in, my favorite part is travelling, managing inventory, exploring, understanding lore. It breathes life into that fictional world and characters from whose eyes I can experience that world in. While survival against deadly foes are in store for our adventurers, threats from the environment will be explored as well, finding shelter and forage, dungeoneering and old fashioned trail blazing.

Visually, a lot of the inspiration comes nature documentaries, no dialogue bushcraft videos (which I often have on while I work on this), and my own travels. I really do want to get the pacing right, so going slow is sort of the point, but I understand if it is not being effective storytelling wise.
